Coffee Cup Roundup
Posted: August 24, 2017 by Rebekah Holten
It's that time of year: the weather is changing, the dorms are filling, and school supplies are being purchased. As the colder days blow in, the coffee huts around town seem more and more appealing. So here is a list of 10 amazing coffee spots in Bozeman!
1. Wild Joes
This is the one most popular with locals as it is right on Main Street, has a great vibe, and great coffee. They also have local artists weekly perform at their shop!
2. Zocalo Coffee House
For a Main Street, not as well known, cozy, coffee house, Zocalo is the way to go! They have attentive staff, local art on the walls, and an awesome loft to have a more intimate conversation or study break. Definitely worth the taste!
3. Feed Cafe

Feed Cafe has a great reputation for a locally sourced, breakfast or lunch spot, but their coffee is not something to skip! This restaurant was created by the owners of the ever-popular Nova Cafe, and it is the perfect place to stop for that comfy, farm-chic vibe on Main Street.
4. Treeline Coffee Roasters
Treeline is fairly new and is located on Wallace (aka the new happening place). It has an easy-going atmosphere and AMAZING coffee! It's the perfect place to stop on your way to Bridger Bowl!
5. Sola Cafe & Market

I mean just look at that cinnamon roll! They cook and bake their delicacies from scratch daily. If you are gluten-free this is the place to go as they have a wide-array of alternatives. This is also a great place to bring your kids- they even have a little kid's play area under the stairs!
6. Cold Smoke Coffeehouse
Cold Smoke has two Bozeman locations- one off of Willow Peak Drive and one off of West Oak Street. This is a great place to meet with a group as there is a lot of space and seating at the Oak location. Another awesome thing? All of their "tips" are donated elsewhere!
7. Wild Crumb

If you are in to artisan breads and pastries, this place is quite literally heaven on earth. They have local coffee that is always delicious and inexpensive and the huckleberry scone never disappoints!
8. Rockford Coffee
Another coffee shop located downtown to add to your bucket list! They have great, STRONG java here! Try their 6T (a coffee drink with both drip and espresso as well as other flavors) and sit back and relax at this laid-back coffee shop.
9. City Brew

If you want speedy and reliable, City Brew is the way to go. The service is fast and friendly and you are promised a great cup of joe. We suggest the Honey Almond Affogata Granita (that's a favorite in our office) or a hazelnut breve. If you go to their location off of College, stop by our Coldwell Banker office which is right across the road!
10. Townshend's Teahouse
It may not be a coffee shop, but you get the same vibe with a whole selection of new drinks. Grab one of their board games and try their bubble tea or Kombucha on tap- you definitely won't be disappointed with this eclectic teahouse!
11. Higher Ground

Yes, the service is fast. Yes it has incredible, locally roasted coffee. But the best part is definitely the purpose behind this adorable coffee hut. Higher Ground "Coffee for a Cause" is located next to the Community Cafe on North 7th Avenue and is the first non-profit coffee business in Bozeman! A portion of all their proceeds go to the Community Cafe. Definitely worth the stop on your morning work commute!
12. On top of a mountain

So this may not be a coffee shop, but can you really ever get a better view?! Pour some coffee in a thermos and hike up Saddle to enjoy coffee with a VIEW!
2. Zocalo Coffee House
For a Main Street, not as well known, cozy, coffee house, Zocalo is the way to go! They have attentive staff, local art on the walls, and an awesome loft to have a more intimate conversation or study break. Definitely worth the taste!
