The trek from Bozeman to Big Sky is one that you won’t forget. Driving through the Gallatin Canyon, winding through high alpine meadows and alongside the Gallatin River you’ll be able to see the beauty that Big Sky Country has to offer. As you approach Big Sky Resort, you’ll be able to see the iconic Lone Peak, a staggering 11,166 feet in elevation.

With only 28 days until opening day of the 2021-22 ski season, locals in Bozeman are waxing their skis and snowboards in eager anticipation. Big Sky Resort offers all kinds of terrain for your level of skiing. Whether you’re just starting out and need a lesson; or fall into the intermediate category and want to go on runs that are going to improve your technique, Big Sky Resort can accommodate all skill-levels.

If you’re looking for lodging, look into a room at the Huntley Lodge and Summit Hotel. Not sure what to do after you’ve hit the slopes? Just drive a few miles back down the Mountain Village for a unique shopping and dining experience.

With 5,850 skiable acres, 39 lifts, 4,350 vertical feet, and only 1 Lone Peak in the world; your next winter destination should be Big Sky Resort.
